MAYA: DAILY LIFE,CLOTHES

Maya clothes reflected a person's position in society and age.They were made of vegetal and fibres. Warrions wore ornate eagle feather hair dresses and jaguar skins. Mayans were fond of jewels made in jade,opal and obsidin.

HOUSES:

1.Most of the Maya lived in small villages surrouded by cornfields.

2.The houses had thatched roofs and usually had just one room.

3.These huts above were used all for sleepin ;daily ho usework was done outdoors in the central communal compound, a kind of primitive village square.

MAYAN MEDICINE AND BELIEFS

The Maya believed the Earth to be flat and four-

corned.

They had at last 166 named deties.

Priests were also doctors who cured the diseases created by Evil espirits entering the bodies.

One of the most used medicine was a hot,bitter,firthy drink made of ground cacao beans and quite similar to chocolate used to cure diseases including diarrhea and fatigue .

1-Maya´s primary food was Maize and Corn.

2-Maya completed their diet with Lima, Flat bread, Chile peppers, Beans and squas and tomatoes and avocados.

3-Turkey is a bird of America.

4-The ball game is a game of Maya civilization
